Motorcycle lap record smashed by Haslam
3rd Mar 2008 - Leon Haslam smashed the outright motorcycle lap record on his factory Honda CBR1000RR British Superbike today with a time of 1:12.6.
Leon commented, "I really like the new track. It’s demanding and rewarding."
Leon's father Ron added, "It’s a great track and you really have to push hard to get the times"
Outright lap record broken again
21st Feb 2008 - Today Jos Verstappen set a time of 1:03.2 in the Team Equipe Verschuur Porsche RS Spyder, further breaking the record set yesterday.
Jos said, "I Really like the track and the two fast right hand corners in particular are very entertaining on the limit. I will be back!"

Welcome to Guadix Circuit
Since opening mid January 2007, the new circuit has already achieved rave reviews as a result of testing, from RPM Motorsport with their Dodge Vipers winning the British GT Championship this year, Barwell Motorsport winning the British GT constructers Championship with Aston Martin. Also Honda Racing winning the 2007 BSB Championship.
The circuit is used by Renault Motorsport with Megane Supertouring, KTM with the new RC8 and X Bow car, Superbike Magazine, Motorcycle News, Supermoto magazine and 95% of all British Superbike factory teams.
During November 2007 we had Aston Martin with the new GT2 car and Lamborghini with the Murcellargo GTI and GT3, cars both teams found the circuit very productive in there test schedules. The good news is travelling fast.
